The Fog City Diner is a must stop place for me when I visit San Francisco. Whether I am in the mood for a sandwich (I recommend the red snapper sandwich) or something more pricey - I have not been dissapointed. The atmosphere is casual but patrons are generally dressed nicely - from casual to formal. They make a great martini and have a good selection of single malt scotch and specialty brews. We have been there with groups up to 12 that were accomodated in the dining wing that borders the Embarcadero. The Fog City Diner staff provides a great dining experience for a date or for group get togethers. Don't miss it.
